At sowing: Sensitive improvements in roses
In this evaluation, we defined eight trials for seedling stage crops of roses and spray roses, in seven different varieties, including Nina, Explorer, Kahala and Hilux. The plantations are located in flower-growing areas of the Sierra, with marked edaphoclimatic differences, in Cayambe, Tabacundo, Latacunga and El Quinche.
The results allowed us to confirm the positive effects at sowing with the application of the two types of product we offer: Tectopore Bioblend and Tectopore Pure.
Tectopore Pure is a premium pyrolytic biochar without inoculation, recommended for specific plants. Meanwhile, Tectopore Bioblend is formulated with an enriched blend of a high diversity of efficient microorganisms and nutrient concentration, designed for faster results.
We measured productivity, quality and cost/benefit return of the product and in each, within the defined timeframe, measurable improvements were achieved, as well, the revitalisation of soils consolidating the physical, chemical and biological benefits that our products enable was evidenced.
Within the productivity indicator, we valued the increase in additional stems per hectare per month, to conclude with the monthly and annual return on the use of the product.
In terms of quality analysis, the measurement focused on stem length, calibre, stem weight and bud length.
We were also able to demonstrate that the soil was healthier in the areas where Tectopore was used.
Application methodology
In the cultivation of roses at sowing, we apply Tectopore in the furrow where the rose is planted in order to be in direct contact with the root influence???. The recommendation in this respect is to place it together with organic matter and micro-organisms.
Once the plants entered the production stage, we measured each trial with a minimum of two cycles and harvest data was taken within 203 days on average.
